Sponsored content policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Every client article on the RankWitty network is sponsored content. This policy sets out how we label it and the standards it must meet, so readers can trust the pages and clients know what to expect.

Clear labelling

  • Every client article starts with the line "Sponsored by" followed by the client's business name. This line is always the first line and is never removed or hidden.
  • Articles do not pretend to be independent reviews or news reporting.

Editorial standards

  • A human editor reviews every article before it is published. We describe our articles as human-edited.
  • Every article is original and checked for uniqueness. We do not publish copied text.
  • Each article targets one keyword, and no two articles on the same page target the same keyword.
  • Claims about a business must be accurate and supported by what the client has told us.
  • We never say or imply that an article is guaranteed a position on Google.

Publishing

  • A person on our team publishes every article by hand. No bots post on LinkedIn.
  • Each network page publishes at most one client article per page per day, so pages stay readable.
  • Articles go on pages whose niche fits the client's industry.

What we do not publish

  • Anything illegal, or promoting illegal products or services.
  • False or misleading claims, including fake reviews, invented statistics or impersonation.
  • Medical, financial or legal claims that promise outcomes or could cause harm.
  • Hate, harassment, violence, adult content or content aimed at children.
  • Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy.
  • Gambling, weapons, tobacco, vaping or drugs.
  • Anything that breaks LinkedIn's rules for content.

We may edit an article so it meets this policy, ask the client for changes, or decline to publish it. When we decline for reasons that are not the client's fault, our refund policy applies.

Reporting a problem

If you think an article on the network breaks this policy, tell us and a person on our team will look at it.
